End of Tour Awards

As is customary the tour ends with tour awards. This is to recognise those boys who most impressed the coaching staff on the rugby pitch. In addition to the playing awards there is the prestigious 'top tourist' award for the young man who most impressed the staff with a positive approach, good sense of humour and general great company on tour. As you can imagine their was some fierce competition for this award with any number of the boys having a great tour off the pitch as well as on. After much discussion a final decision was reached in the end... So on a trip to the opera house the QEGS staff couldn't help but notice the range of fruit and veg stalls and specialist fresh sushi eateries on display. It goes without saying that as role models to young men they decided to practise what they preach on diet and nutrition and go full on Scarborough with their lunch selection. Unfortunately Mr Wolfenden couldn't make this photo as he was at the ice cream van getting a round of 99s in for a well balance

17/07 Tangalooma to Sunshine Coast

The boys travelled by boat from Tangalooma to Brisbane, before a nice walk around the southbank of Brisbane- think London Southbank but with a tropical climate. We then went to Australia Zoo, famous for being Steve Irwin's family zoo and home of many antipodean animals and crocodile shows.  Touring can be Tiring.  Will R and G-Man take a break  JJ and Tinks take a snooze Even England Rugby's Travel's finest need a break sometimes.
